
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informs․
“Starting from January 1, 2026, in the case of non-cash transactions, pensioners and benefit recipients will be provided with an advance payment of up to 20% instead of the current 12%.
As a result, the amount of pension or benefit may increase to AMD 10,000 instead of the current AMD 6,000.
At the same time, the program was extended until 2026. December, 31st. At today’s meeting, the Government approved the draft submitted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Note that in 2025. According to October data, 366,432 citizens use the program: the average amount of compensation received by one beneficiary is 4,157 drams.
Since the launch of the program to this day, non-cash transactions worth 314 billion 194 million drams have been carried out on pension cards,”and about 30 billion drams have been returned to beneficiaries in the form of cashback.”
