I encourage our teenagers to study and become officers, because in addition to providing housing, we also guarantee medical care, which in the future will become medical insurance, as well as high salaries. I think that a citizen, in order to find his place in society, can make this decision and choose one of the most suitable professions, in my opinion, obtaining the highest rank of military and officer,” he said.

Another issue, according to Papikyan, is the creation of a professional army. “For about two years, 4,225 conscripts who are already contract servicemen have joined our ranks under the Defender of the Motherland program. They have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense for 5 years and will be the main staff of our army for 5 years.”

Papikyan called on parents and conscripts to carefully study this program, which involves six months of service in a military training unit, after which they undergo 5 years of contract service in order to receive a high salary. “As a result of the certification, they can receive a significant salary,” he said.
