men who have completed conscription or contract service,
who have not served, but who have received a postponement or dismissal, who are recognized as fit,
graduates of military academies,
women with a military specialty:
They will undergo exercises of the Russian Armed Forces of Russia, the National Guard, Emergencies in the Ministry and the Federal Security Service (NSS): Military training lasts two months, and calls are received every three years.:

In total, those arrested can spend no more than 12 months as important: during the exercise, reservists are checked for combat training and specialized equipment for working with skills.:

If a person officially works, his position remains during the internship, and the employer continues to pay the average salary calculated based on the last two months of work.:

The changes made to the law in 2025 made it possible to recruit reservists in peacetime.
