A foreign parent can receive benefits if
the child is registered at a residential address in Armenia,
the parent and the child are in Armenia,
and the parent has been registered in Armenia for the last three years in a row.,

In which cases the allowance is not provided
A parent loses the right to benefits if․
abandoning the child,
placing the child in an orphanage or social protection organization,
the child is adopted,
the child is recognized as left without parental care.
A one-time allowance at the birth of a child is assigned and paid to the guardian regardless of whether the child has the status of a child left without parental care.:
The amount of the allowance
In case of the birth of the first and second child-300,000 drams.
In case of the birth of the third and fourth child-AMD 1,000,000.
In case of the birth of the fifth and each subsequent child-AMD 1,500,000.
If more than one child is born at the same time, the amount of the allowance is set for each in accordance with the highest category.
The amount of a one-time allowance at the birth of a child credited to the state support account in case of the birth of the third and each subsequent child.:
in case of the birth of the third child-five hundred thousand drams,
in case of the birth of the fourth child-five hundred thousand drams,
in case of the birth of the fifth and each subsequent child-one million drams.
Application procedure
The application and the necessary documents are submitted to the territorial center of the unified social service.
The territorial center verifies the data and makes a decision within 10 business days.
In case of refusal, the applicant receives a written notification within 5 working days.
The deadline for submitting an application is 12 months after the birth of the child.
