In the current situation, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II has two options․
a) hand over the church to Nikol Pashinyan, since events show that one way or another the Pashinyan KGB system will achieve its goal.
b) transfer the throne of the Enlightener to Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhyan or any other invulnerable, respected and reputable bishop who will be able to protect the unity of the Church and resist the repression of the authorities. This is the horse’s move that will throw the system into a zugzwang.
