“On November 23, the consecration ceremony of the Church of St. Nicholas took place in the village of Ararat in the Masiakotn diocese. I, Priest Yervand Babayans, celebrated the sacred and immortal liturgy at Hakob’s church. The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere:

In the evening, I came across an article on the Internet in which my leader, Father Gevorg EPS: Saroyan, was identified with Brutos and accused of alleged treason:

We, the priests of the diocese, know how our leader defended the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and especially His Holiness the Patriarch over the past years.:

We also remember how on July 4 of this year, during a rally in defense of Samvel Karapetyan in Seasons Park, Her Holiness Gevorg was unfairly attacked.:

I have not the slightest doubt that His Holiness Gevorg, as well as many other clergymen, are aiming at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. And this is the case when weighty accusations are made against the church and some churchmen, facts are published, while the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin remains silent.:

No one ordered me not to mention His Holiness’s name. Neither the authorities, nor my leader:

During the meeting with His Holiness, I also expressed my concern about the unrest in the life of our Church.:

I ask everyone to pray and wish that this deepening crisis between church and state is resolved as soon as possible, and that we, as ministers of the church, join our mission for the sake of building our Homeland and for the glory of our faith.”:
