
Armenian Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan raised the issue of the health status of the Armenian prisoners held in Baku.At a press conference in the press center”Avanesyan, referring to the question of whether he has information about the health status of the Armenians held in Baku, Avanesyan replied:
“With the coordination of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, work is constantly underway related to the health of the Armenians detained in Baku, as well as all other issues. I assure you that both under international law and through all possible humanitarian channels, these issues, with the coordination of our foreign ministry, are in the center of attention. These works are not postponed for a second, they do not slow down, but are always in the center of attention of our government,” Avanesyan said.
Azerbaijan continues to illegally detain 19 Armenian prisoners, including representatives of the former military and political leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh. They returned their sentences to imprisonment on false charges with a verdict.
