The “Armenpress” News Agency has learned that a senior specialist of the Department of the Agency for the State Register of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Ani Ghazaryan and Vahagn Azizyan have been charged with large-scale fraud, abuse of official authority, embezzlement of the amount of 1.270.000 AMD payable as a state fee.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the preliminary investigation, it was established that these persons, working in the Ministry of Justice, using their official position contrary to the interests of the service, with prior agreement, with criminal intent, and by deception stole the amount of AMD 1,270,000, payable to the state fee.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persons who have committed a crime of a corrupt nature are at large, since a preventive measure has been chosen against them in the form of a ban on absence.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials who have harmed the state with the help of state levers continue to remain at large, while citizens who criticize the authorities and utter “caustic words” are immediately arrested. This course of action by law enforcement agencies indicates that in Armenia the law does not act in the name of the state, but serves the interests of the authorities.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry informed the “authorities” that one of the mentioned persons was in 2023.She no longer works in the State registry of the Ministry of Justice since 2009.”:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
